Charles "Stumpknocker" Lott, Sr.

Charles Lott Sr., 70, of Bamberg, SC passed away on Monday, August 23 ,2021, after a brief illness.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 27, 2021, at the South End Cemetery in Bamberg.  Rev. Wash Belangia IV and Minister Sam Hightower will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:00 A.M. prior to the graveside service.

Mr. Lott was born on September 16,1950, in Bamberg, SC. He was the son of the late Frank Lott Jr. and the late Kathleen Kinsey Lott. He was retired from Bamberg Floral Supplies of Bamberg. "Stumpknocker" enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting pool and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Terry and Dennis Lott, and a sister Doris Croft. Survivors include his son Chuck Lott and daughter Stephanie Sandifer; 4 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren, sisters Barbara Pruett of Bamberg, Kathy Hightower (Sam) of Cope and Sherry Knight (Vincent) of Jedburg, SC, and several nieces and nephews.
