Charles A. Magee, Sr. 83 of 308 Lottie Lane; Orangeburg died Friday, January 31, 2014 at his residence.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Northgate Baptist Church; 850 Woodbine Drive; Orangeburg with Rev. Tant Ehrhardt and Rev. Donald Reams officiating. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg is assisting the family.
The family will receive friends after the Memorial Service at the Church. He was born July 14, 1930 in Harlingen, Texas; the son of the late Mr. Magee and the late Grace Hibbard Magee. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Northgate Baptist Church and was retired from Sunbeam Appliance Service Company.
Survivors include his wife; Mrs. Mary Sue Gramling Magee of Orangeburg; his children; Cathy Dennis of Aiken; Mary (Randy) Elliot of Memphis, TN; Charles (Donna) Magee, Jr. of Bakersfield, CA; Michael Magee of Richmond, VA; Lara (Philip) Reams of Orangeburg; step- children; Robin (George) Bishop; Sheri (Bruce) O'Cain both of Orangeburg; Nair (Brenda) Till of Lake Wales, FL and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
