Charles Anthony McMurry , 65 of 186 Hills Road, Cope died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Victory Hill Church of God with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Rev. Andrew Baxley officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Pallbearers will be Allen Williams, Quinton Williams, James Corder, Mike Gregory,David Hunnicut and Harry Feagin.
He was born July 2, 1950 in Newberry, SC; the son of the late Edmond B. McMurry and the late Eugenia Ragsdale McMurry. He was retired from Ablemarle.
Survivors include his wife; Ann Seymore McMurry of the home; a daughter; Jennifer McMurry (Kevin) Turner of Simpsonville; a son; Charles Jeffrey (Lucinda) McMurry of Cope; 4 grandchildren; Mason Edmond Turner, Riley Christine Turner, Braylon Anthony McMurry and Baylee Deanna McMurry; 1 brother; Michael (Yvonne) McMurry of Chapin; 2 sisters; Phyllis (Charlie) Jeter and Carolyn Elvington of Florence.
Friends may call at the residence and at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Thompson funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
