Charles David White

Charles David White, 74, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg. Burial will follow with full Military Honors at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg.  Rev. Bennie Williams will be officiating.

Mr. White was born on May 9, 1943 in Orangeburg. He was the son of the late David Hampton White and the late Eva Jackson White Harley. He joined the United States Army National Guard in 1964 and retired August 2001 with a total of 37 years of service. He was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth White Cramer.

Survivors include his children, Venus Hamilton (Brian) of Neeses, Victor White (April) of Cope, Anthony White (Tracy) of Lexington; seven grandchildren, Eric Free, Johnathan Free, Miah Free, Miranda White, Preston White, Matthew Judy, and Dillon White; four great-grandchildren, Madison Free, Sidney Free, Parker Judy, Paxton Judy and a brother, Harold Hampton White (Dixie) of Santee.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.
