It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charlotte Barnes, who left this world unexpectedly on October 26, 2025. Born on April 3, 1961, in Clay County, Kentucky, Charlotte was a beacon of love and strength to all who knew her. Over the years, she cultivated a warm and nurturing space for her family, where laughter echoed and love abounded.
Charlotte's dedication to her family was unwavering. She is survived by her beloved husband, David Barnes, who shared countless cherished moments with her in their home. Together, they built a life rich in memories and joy. Charlotte was the proud mother of Travonna Maynard, Joshua Barnes, and Crystal Glover, all of Summerville. Her love extended deeply to her eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
A loving sister and daughter, Charlotte is remembered fondly by two sisters and five brothers, who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and compassion. Her parents, Charles Wagers and Anna Powell Wagers, will be forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.
