Charlotte Wiles Waltz, 87 of West Columbia (formerly of St. Matthews) died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at National Health Care of Lexington in West Columbia.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Rev. Sara Relaford officiating.
Mrs. Waltz was born June 20, 1930 in Calhoun County, SC; the daughter of the late Burley William Wiles and the late Rosa Lee Rickenbaker Wiles. She was a volunteer at Calhoun County Rescue Squad and at The Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of the late Alfred Eugene Waltz and was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Waltz.
Survivors include 1 daughter; Catherine “Cathy” (Paul) Peck of West Columbia; 2 sons; Gene (Cyndee) Waltz of Orangeburg and Mark Waltz of Columbia; sister; Carolyn Heaton of North Carolina; brother; Paul Wiles of Orangeburg; sister; Claire Metts of Cayce.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, June 30, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, St. Matthews.
