Chester L. Dantzler, Jr., 67 formerly of Cordova died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
The Casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Edisto Baptist Church in Cope with burial in the church cemetery with Rev. Odell Breland officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
He was born October 24, 1945 in Orangeburg, SC; the son of the late Chester L. Dantzler, Sr. and the late Merle Fogle Dantzler. He was a member of Edisto Baptist Church.
Survivors include 5 Aunts, Geneva F. Dean, Freda N. Fogle, Vivian S. Fogle and Evelyn H. Fogle all of Orangeburg; Nell S. Fogle of Rowesville and a number of cousins.
Friends may call at the residence of Mrs. Geneva Dean; 2846 Charleston Road; Orangeburg and at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
