Chico Tony Cheeks, 65, Orangeburg passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P. M. on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Orangeburg Baptist Tabernacle. Rev Thomas Brookshire and Rev. John O’Cain will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Larry Cook, John Bridge, Sr., Thomas Hiott, III, Ricky Padgett, Jr., Michael Cook, William McCaw, Jr.
Mr. Cheeks was born on July 30, 1952 in Orangeburg. S.C. a son of the late Peggy Fogle McQueen, and was raised by the late Madge Fogle. He was preceded in death by a brother John J. Barney. He was the owner of Cheeks Construction and Lawn Maintenance.
Survivors include his wife; Nancy Bridge Cheeks or Orangeburg; three daughters; Trinity C. Herndon of Orangeburg, Angela and Ricky Padgett of Rowesville, and April and Thomas Hiott of Moncks Corner, 6 grandchildren, William E.McCaw,Jr., Taylor McCaw, Katelyn Herndon, Riley Padgett, Kasen Padgett and Elena Hiott and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the residence and Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8::00 P.M. on Monday, November 13, 2017. At Thompson Funeral Home in Orangeburg.
