Clarence Timrod “Timmy” Jackson, born on November 14, 1943, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026. 

A native of Orangeburg, Timmy was the beloved son of the late Wiley “WQ” and Daisy Myrl Jackson. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Joe Jackson and Wiley (Jackie) Jackson, Jr. 

Timmy is survived by his wife, Dolores “Lori” R. Jackson. He leaves behind: his son, Rod Jackson (Melissa); daughters, Sonya Ehrhardt (Richard) and Tammy Smith (Clay); his grandchildren, Zach Ehrhardt (Kayla), Madison Williams (Logan), Ethan Jackson, Caleb Jackson, Addisynn Smith, and Sloan Smith; and his great-grandchild, Sawyer Williams. Clarence's family ties extended to his sisters, Becky Sharpe (Henry) and Jane Fralick (Danny) as well as his brother-in-law, Roy Roberson, and sisters-in-law, Minnie McCormick (Steve) and Celeste Jenkins and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Jolley Acres Nursing Home and Grove Park Hospice for the love, kindness and respect that was shown to Timmy.

 Timmy’s memory will be honored and cherished by all who knew him. The family recognizes his profound impact and celebrates a life well-lived, defined by loyalty, resilience, and kindness.
