Claude G. Bramblett, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026, at his home with his family by his side. Born on March 14, 1938, Claude lived a full and rich life marked by devotion to his family, his country, and the outdoors he so deeply loved.
Claude began his professional journey with Azalea Meats before dedicating over two decades of his career to the Ethyl Corporation. Following his retirement from Ethyl, he continued to work with KOYO, demonstrating a strong work ethic. His service extended beyond the workplace; he was a proud veteran of the United States Army, a commitment that underscored his sense of duty and honor.
An avid outdoorsman, Claude's passions were many and reflected a life lived close to nature. He loved bird watching, camping, and fishing — activities that brought him immense joy. Among his fondest memories was visiting flea markets, where he delighted in seeking out "hidden treasures."
Family was Claude’s greatest pride and accomplishment. He shared over 64 beautiful years with his loving wife, Betty Hutto Bramblett, who stood beside him as a constant source of love and support. His children, Phyllis (Roy) Kyzer, Marty (Theresa) Bramblett, and Donna (Carey) Proveaux; his grandchildren, Brooke (Rob) Clariday, Katalin Jordan, Trey (McCarley) Kyzer, Cody (Alli) Proveaux, Lauren (Trent) Barrack, and Caleb (Mallory) Proveaux, and great-grandchildren, Luke and Amelia Clariday, Garrett Jordan, Riley Proveaux, Diana and Lila Proveaux, Wells Kyzer, and John Bennett Barrack, The joy he found in being a “Papa” was evident in the lives of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Claude is also survived by his dear sisters, Joyce Nettles and Mary (Barton) Dantzler, along with a loving circle of nieces and nephews.
Claude was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edith Bramblett, and his siblings Bobby Bramblett, Irene Baltzegar, Martha “Mott” Hall, Larry “Petie” Bramblett, and Barbara Bramblett. Claude’s memory lives on vibrantly among those who knew and loved him.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Grove Park Hospice, and especially to Vickie Osborne, Phyllis Parker, Karen Young, Tammy Irick, and Claudette Witcher, for the compassionate care and support they provided during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed immediately by the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, located at 2610 Ninety-Six Road in Neeses, SC. Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating the remarkable life of a man whose spirit touched so many.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Claude’s memory to the Orangeburg Veterans Affairs at 151 Magnolia Village Parkway, Orangeburg, S.C. 29118.
Claude G. Bramblett’s life was a testament to the strength of love, family, and the simple pleasures found in nature. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered with tenderness and gratitude.
