Claude Tony Miles

Claude Tony Miles, 79, of Orangeburg passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Hewitt Family Cemetery in Olanta, S.C.  Rev. Andrew Baxley will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Tony was born on September 23, 1941 in Florence, S.C.  He was the son of the late Thomas Miles and the late Eva Young.  Tony was a member of Victory Hill Church of God. He loved his family and his church family.  He enjoyed working for the Orangeburg County Disability and Special Needs Board.  He was predeceased by his brothers, Troy Miles, Rembert Miles, Lauren “Ben” Miles and his sister, Miriam Feagin.

Survivors include his sister, Christine “Alma” Jones of Cary, N.C.; nephew, Harry “H.L.” Feagin (Catherine) of St. Matthews and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Tony’s Victory Hill Church of God family for the calls, cards and prayers during this difficult time.
