Clement D Clemens, Jr.

Clement D. Clemens, Jr. 81 passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston.

A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at  Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with Rev. Keith Vaughn officiating.

He was born May 14, 1937 in Ocelot, New York; the son of the late Clement Clemens, Sr. and the late Esther Walker Clemens. He served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by a son, Clement Clemens and a step-daughter, Shirley Bishop, and  a sister, Lena Gordon.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Lizzie Russell Clemens of the home; his children; William Bishop, William Roy Clemens, Steven Clemens, Dale Allen Clemens and Samuel Clemens and Laura Will all of New York; also by Julie Goodrich of Quincy, FL; his step-children; William Bishop of Cope, Ricky Bishop of Conn., Barbara Pitts and Rose Alford  of White Springs , FL; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
