Clinton Preston Courtney, 53, of Orangeburg, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Thompson Funeral Home in Orangeburg.
He was born Feb. 20, 1963, in Orangeburg, the son of Cecelia Hinkle McCullum and the late Hiram Courtney Jr. He was an auto mehanic and was employed by Gray's Automotive.
Survivors include a daughter, Gracie A. Courtney of West Columbia; his mother, Cecelia Hinkle McCullum of Orangeburg; a stepdaughter, Amber Stokes of Bamberg; a sister, Cindy Mills of Orangeburg; a half-brother, Shane Courtney of Alabama; a half-sister, Jennifer McCullum of Socastee; and a number of nieces and nephews, including Latasha Smith, Charles Smith and Little Shane Courtney.
