Clyde D. Hall, 83, of Orangeburg passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 in Orangeburg.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg.  Burial will follow at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Neeses.  Rev. Kenneth Hay will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be George Williams, Ron Smith, Curtis E. Hall, Jr., Clarence Hall, Mickey Hall, Neal Hall, Alvoid Pratt and Steve Creel.

Mr. Hall was born on August 2, 1933 in Batesburg-Leesville, SC; the son of the late Curtis Hall and the late Mary Elizabeth Gantt Hall. He was retired from Dempsey Wood Products after 40 years of service. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Hall, a granddaughter, Joyce Hall; 1 brother; Curtis Hall, Jr.; 5 sisters; Ola Hall, Margaret Hall, Virginia Smith, Mildred Kessler and Mary Irick.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years; Carolyn Shuman Hall of the home; his children; Donnie Hall, Sr. (Connie) of Orangeburg; Lonnie Hall (Velma) of Swansea; Tony Hall, Kelvin Hall (Maria) and Misty Oates (Jerry) all of Orangeburg; Grandchildren; Amanda Blackburn, Donnie Hall, Jr., Jennifer L. Hall, Wayne Sheppard, Connie Blankenship, Tammy Bolen, Robbie Hall, Steven Hall, Heather Williams, Nicholas Hall, Wesley Hall, Tony Hall, Jr., Jennifer Nettles, Christopher Hall, Leslie Creel, Blake Oates, Kayla Oates, Kristi Canaday and a number of great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Special Thanks to Connie and Donnie Hall and the staff at Grove Park Hospice for all their care and support.

Friends may call at the residence of  Donnie and Connie Hall, 134 Coconut Court, Orangeburg and at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg
