Cyril "Dean" Fox

Cyril “Dean" Fox, 61, of Cordova passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, after a brief illness.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, 1012 Whitman Street in Orangeburg.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 11, 2021, prior to the memorial service.

Mr. Fox was born on April 23, 1960, in Barnwell, S.C.  He was the son of the late Jesse M. Fox, Sr. and the late Helen L. Fralix McCarty.  He served his country in the United States Navy.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his passion was his family.  He was predeceased by his wife, Nilda Kilgore.

Survivors include his daughter, Cecilia Fox (Justin Shapley); grandchildren, Cole Shapley, Charleigh Shapley; step-children, Tiffany Kilgore, Nicole Kilgore, Jessica Kilgore, Josh Kilgore; step-grandchildren, Khloe Jamison, Trinity Jamison, Brett Hampton, Harmony Hampton, Jayden Kilgore; sisters, Margaret Hughes, Helen Hasty; brother, Jessie M. Fox, Jr. (Kathy) and a number of nieces and nephews.
