Daisy Cochran Hanberry

Daisy Phillips Cochran Hanberry,96, died on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 18, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg, S.C. with burial at Norway Cemetery in Norway, S.C. Rev. Joseph Hallman will be officiating.

Mrs. Hanberry was born on August 9, 1919 in Orangeburg, S.C. She was the daughter of the late Lee Phillips and the late Lena Young Phillips. She was a telegraph operator at Western Union. Mrs. Hanberry was very active with the Orangeburg Flea Market for 21 years.

Survivors include 1 son, William L. Cochran of Orangeburg, S.C.; a number of nieces and nephews including Dickie Phillips of Springfield, S.C., Barbara Usher of Orangeburg, S.C., Lynn Smith of Orangeburg, S.C. and Keith Phillips of Neeses, S.C. and family friends Charles Dukes and Helen Morris.
