Daniel Derrick Warner, Sr. ,85 of 2573 Charleston Hwy; Orangeburg died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 27, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg with Rev. Lois Helms, Rev. Fred McDaniel and Paul Noonan officiating.
Pallbearers will be his nephews
He was born July 2, 1930 in Batesburg-Leesville, SC; the son of the late Willie Preston Warner and the late Lizzie Hayes Warner. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church and served in the National Guard. He was retired from Orangeburg Preparatory Schools.
Survivors include his wife; Loretta Griffin Warner of the home; 4 sons; Daniel (Susie) Warner, Jr., Randy Warner, Steve (Lisa) Warner, Sr. and Chris (Angi) Warner, Sr. all of Orangeburg; 4 grandchildren; Dana McDaniel, Jan Warner, Steve Warner, Jr. and C.J. Warner; 5 great grandchildren; 1 sister; Eva Watson of Batesburg.
Friends may call at the residence of Daniel Warner, Jr.; 1687 Park Street, Orangeburg and at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
