David Wyatt Curles

David W. Curles, 56 of Orangeburg passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 after an extended fight with cancer.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg.

Mr. Curles was born July 25, 1961 in Charleston, SC; the son of the late Joe L. Curles and the late Secilia Ann Fogle Curles. He was a member of Columbia Road Church of God. David was a long-time employee of Braxton’s Shoes where he met a lot of wonderful people of the Orangeburg Community. David loved to show off his skills in the kitchen with exotic dishes. His daughters said that made the best meat loaf and was the Best Father in the whole world.

Survivors include his wife; Lisa Davis Curles of Orangeburg; 3 daughters; Briana Curles, Skylar Curles and Audrey Curles all of Orangeburg; 2 sisters; Paula (Steve) Thompson and Joann Jackson all of Orangeburg; 4 brothers; Steven Curles, Donald Curles, Jimmy Curles and Billy Curles all of Orangeburg and a number of nieces and nephews.
