David Eugene Lore

David Eugene Lore, 41, of St. Matthews passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 29, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 P.M. on Friday, April 2, 2021 prior to the memorial service.

David was born on March 17, 1980 in Portsmouth, Ohio.  He was the son Crystal Ann Spires.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter.  He loved music.  David had a warm heart and a big smile.  He was a self-taught carpenter.  He was predeceased by his stepfather, Gary Spires and the love of his life, Nikki Eason.

Survivors include his mother, Crystal Spires; siblings, DaVita (Deb) Baughman, John (Kelly) Lore, Bo Eldridge; a number of nieces and nephews; special friends, Josh Hair, Dargon Williamson, Thomas Wetherell, all he has been friends with since the third grade; and his beloved fur babies, “Flea” and “Moska.”
