David Eugene Smith

David Eugene Smith, 65, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at his residence.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg.

Mr. Smith was born on May 30, 1952 in Newport, Tennessee.  He was the son of the late John Smith and the late Frances Helms Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Mazie Pratt Smith of the home; daughter, Kayla Smith of Orangeburg; sons, Kenneth Smith and David Smith, Jr. both of Orangeburg; three grandchildren, Taylor, Kenzie and Kamya; brother, J.C. Smith of Orangeburg; sisters, Jennie Pope of Columbia, April Headden and Tammy Smith both of Orangeburg.
