David "Bubba" Stillinger

David Lamar "Bubba" Stillinger,76, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg. Rev. Dan Fogle, Jr. will be officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg.
Pallbearers will be Dan Fogle, Jr., Keith Stillinger, Jody Stillinger, David Fogle, Dennis Fogle, Lynn Hughes and Casey Barringer
Mr. Stillinger was born on December 20, 1939 in Norway, S.C. He was the son of the late Herman Stillinger and the late Aileen Fanning Stillinger. He was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Parlor. Mr. Stillinger was a retired machinist from Zeus Industries. He was the biggest Carolina fan EVER!
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Stillinger; daughters Teresa Gilchrist and Rene' Smith of Wilmington, N.C.; a son Marty Stillinger of Canton, OH; step-son, William "Rusty" Weeks; brothers and sisters, Joe (Anne) Stillinger, Dwight (Cindy) Stillinger, Carroll (Donna) Stillinger, Vivian Fogle, Patsy (Carl) Brechlin, Lib (Leon) Gleaton, Danny Stillinger; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the residence.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.
