David Lee Truluck, Iii

David Lee Truluck, III, 44, of Orangeburg, S.C. passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 9, 2024.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at New Hope Cemetery in Rowesville, S.C.  Rev. Alan Woodward will be officiating.

David was born on January 6, 1980, in Orangeburg, S.C.  He was the son of David Lee Truluck, Jr. and Lou Ann Legrand Hutto.  He was employed with Sonic in maintenance.  David attended Cornerstone Church in Orangeburg.  He was a true animal lover.  He also enjoyed fishing every chance he got.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John E. Legrand, his paternal grandparents, David and Frances Truluck and a niece, Kana Shaw Crosby.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, David L. Truluck, Jr. (Lori); his mother, Lou Ann Legrand Hutto; his maternal grandmother, Carolyn Jeffcoat; sisters, Chrissy Truluck, Jennifer Hutto; brother, Ray Lee Truluck; nephew, Matthew Lee “Chance” Clark and an additional number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Maude Schiffley SPCA at 225 Ruf Road Orangeburg, S.C. 29118.
