Debra Herring Kirkland

Debra Herring Kirkland , 47 of Orangeburg, SC left this world on Saturday, September 6, 2014, with family and friends by her side following a brief illness.

There will be a casual Graveside Service at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg. with Rev. Robert Templeton officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Debra was born August 5, 1967 in Orangeburg, SC to Kenneth and Barbara Herring also of Orangeburg, SC. She was preceded in death by her Father-in-law; the late Charlie Kirkland.

She leaves behind a devoted husband, Robert "Bobby" Kirkland of the home; two wonderful sons; Ryan T. and Taylor M Kirkland still living at home and one step-daughter; Christina G. "Crissy" Kirkland of Summerville, SC; two granddaughters; Brianna and Calleigh; two brothers; Richard M. Herring and Kenneth T. (Megan) Herring both of Orangeburg, SC; one sister, Wendy Herring (Jeff) Pope of Lexington, SC; Mother-in-law; Janice Payne Kirkland of Orangeburg, SC; two sisters-in-law; Carol (James) Holliday of Orangeburg and Lisa (Randy) Joye of Spartanburg, SC; nieces and nephews, Chris (Cary) Hopkins, Kyle (Liz) Herring, Tara Hopkins, Tiffany (Chuck) Noell, Matthew Herring, Megan (John) Luoma, Tanner and Caden Joye; Erin Holliday, McKelden Herring, several great nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. The family is accepting visitors at the home of her parents, Barbara and Kenneth Herring; 4042 Utica Avenue; Orangeburg, SC.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, September 8, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

This world has truly lost a wonderful lady so full of life and love; she will be greatly missed by many.
