A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 29, 2013 Grace Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Walterboro with Rev. Darryl Hunt officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
She was born December 13, 1934 in Orangeburg County, SC; the daughter of the late Joseph B. Herron and the late Florrie Pye Herron. She was a member of the Church of God in Walterboro. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law; Debra Jackson Bowers.
Survivors include 3 sons; Charles and Brenda Bowers; Richard W. Bowers and Gary and Patti Bowers all of Norway; 1 brother; George W. Herron of Cordova; and a special sister; Geraldine Huff of Charleston.2 granddaughters; Mrs. Kelly (William) Griffith of Orangeburg; Mrs. Kimberly (Ryan) Smith of Boiling Springs, SC; step granddaughter; Amanda Fanning and step grandson; Franklin R. Fanning both of Norway; 2 great grandchildren; Miss JuliAnn Kay Griffith and Marisa Griffith.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
