Mr. Dell Hoover, Sr., 69 of Branchville died Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at his residence
A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg with Rev. Ken Hay officiating.
He was born November 11, 1945 in Orangeburg, SC; the son of the late Odell Hoover and the late Lucile Chavis Hoover. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent many hours hunting for arrowheads and other Indian Artifacts. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Jimmy Hoover and Billy Gene Hoover.
Survivors include 1 son; Dell Hoover, Jr. of Branchville, SC; 1 brother; Robert Clyde and Arlene Hoover of Orangeburg and a number of nieces.
Friends may call at the residence and at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
