Deloris Ann Lawson Middleton, 75 of Cameron, SC died Saturday, July 9, 2016at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
Dee was born August 13, 1940 in St. Anne, IL, the daughter of the late Roland D. Lawson and the late Doris E. Betzer Loshbaugh. In 1960 she moved to Michigan. She was a manager at Plainwell Lanes for many years. In 2000 she retired from Ostego Public Schools after 18 years of service as a bus driver. Dee enjoyed bowling, gardening, volunteering at RMC Hospital, and was a member of the V.F.W. She dedicated the majority of her life working to raise six children. Dee loved all children no matter who they were. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Metzner.
Surviving are her husband who she married on February 14, 1975, Richard Middleton at home, her children Jerry Metzner of Kalamazoo, MI; Terry(Lisa) Metzner of Kentwood, MI; Keith Metzner of Kalamazoo, MI; Kathy(Steve) McMaster of Sturgis, MI; Renee(Ken) Miller of Kalamazoo, MI; and Stacy(Brian) Booth of Kalamazoo, MI; 2 sisters: Sandy(Ed,deceased) Thar of Plainwell, MI and Marilyn(Michael) Wager of Oshtemo, MI. 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and step-family.

VISITATION will be held 3:00 to 5:00 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
