Diane (Young) Ward

Diane Young Ward passed away peacefully at her home on September 12, 2017. She was born on November 10, 1945 to the late Mildford Young and the late Helen Brereton Young.
She leaves behind a loving husband, Guy Ward of St. Matthews; sisters Margot Capron of Valhalla, N.Y., Lorrie McGary (Mike) of Waterford Works, N.J.; brothers, Gregory Young of Melbourne, FL, Paul Young (Kathi); children, William (Linda) Knapp of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Christene Kemmerlin of North Carolina, Lance (Amy) Knapp, many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to a charity of one’s choice.
The family will be receiving visitors at the home 137 Hickory Road, St. Matthews, S.C. 29135.
