Donald Wayne Rhinehart, 74 of 1413 Stacey Bridge Road ; Orangeburg went to be with his Savior Saturday, March 16, 2013 at his residence with his family by his side
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 23, 2013 Grace Baptist Church in Orangeburg with Rev. Darrell Wilkins officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
He was born April 30, 1938 in Graniteville, SC; the son of the late Jesse W. Rhinehart and the late Gladys I. Greene Rhinehart. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 10 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Warrenville Baptist Church. He was retired from Mayer Industries after 30 years of service. He was a Mason.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years; Joan Yaughn Rhinehart of the home; 1 daughter; Dawn Griffin and her children; Hannah J. Griffin, Joshua H. Griffin, Daniel S. Griffin, Michael P. Griffin and Lauren Griffin all of Taylors, SC; 1 son; David Rhinehart and his children; Heather D. Rhinehart, Cody Wayne Rhinehart and Austin C. Rhinehart all of Orangeburg; 1 great grandson; Donovan Griffin; 1 sister; Kay (Bill) Murray of Moncks Corner, SC and a number of nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
