Doris S. Paolini, 87 passed away after a brief illness on October 8, 2013 in Florida.
She was born August 9, 1926 in Cope, SC; a daughter of the late Clarence E. Antley and the late Ethel Hinkle Antley. She was married to John Paolini in South Carolina and moved to Deland, Florida where they resided for the remainder of her life in the reflection of her life in the reflection of the St. John's River, which she loved so much. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two sons; Marvin and Mickey Shipes, her sister, Blanche Hughes, and two brothers, Nevelle and Carl Antley.
Graveside Services will be held 3:30PM Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Alan Woodward officiated, directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg, SC.
She is survived by many adoring nieces and nephews. Also a special nephew, Ray Hughes of Orangeburg; great niece, Melissa Hughes of Cope, great great niece, Haley Arends of Cope; her cat Fluffy; a sister-in-law; Frances Antley Davis of Cope.
We will all miss her love and happiness that she gave and filled our lives.
