Douglas Charles Heslep, 61 of 113 Ferndale Road; Cope died Thursday June 27, 2013 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with Rev. Ken Hay directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
He was born December 3, 1951 in Alliance, Ohio; the son of Patricia Hennacy Heslep and the late Robert Eugene Heslep. He served in the US Marines and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his Mother; Patricia Hennacy Heslep of Orangeburg; 1 daughter; Angela (Jody) LaFrance of Orangeburg; 1 grandson; Joey LaFrance of Orangeburg; ; 1 brother; Patrick (Charlene) Heslep of Cope; 4 sisters; Mary Joe (David) Borton of Orangeburg; Kathy (Hank) Emory of Cope; Cecilia (Robert) Fanning of Orangeburg; Dee Dee (Doug) Anderson of Myrtle Beach, SC; a special nephew; J. R. Heslep; a number of nieces and grand nieces and nephews; a special friend; Paulus Jumper.
