Edna Sweatman Judy, 85, of Morningside of Orangeburg died January 11, 2015 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. The funeral service will be held Thursday,January 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Bowman First Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Thurston officiating. Burial will be in the Bowman Memorial Cemetery of Bowman, SC. Pallbearers are Rodney Canady of St. George, Allen Canady of Summerville, Bryan Ott, Adam Smith and Ryan Stack all of Bowman and Robert Wolfe of Orangeburg.

Edna was born January 21, 1929 in St. George, the daughter of the late Fitzhugh and Eula Knight Sweatman of St. George, SC She was a member of Bowman First Baptist Church and a former member of Cameron Baptist Church where she worked the nursery for 40 years. She was a retired seamstress, General Country Store owner, and childcare provider with her true passion for cooking. The was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, M.T. Judy of Bowman and her loving companion and husband of 9 years, Wilson Judy of Bowman. Two brothers, Frances "Buster" Sweatman and James "Bobby" Sweatman both of St. George, SC. Three sisters, Mary Taylor and Mildred Utsey both of Harleyville, SC and Ruth Geddings of Round O, SC.

Survivors include a son, Andrew E. Judy (*Sohelia) of Marina, CA; three daughters, Kathryn J. Perkins (Warren) of Murfreesboro, TN, Joan J. Aimar (Jimmy) of Bowman, SC and Connie J. Robinson (Steve) of Summerton, SC. Four grandchildren, Judy P. Lowe (Bryan) of Murfeesboro, TN, Eddie Mimms of CA; Jennifer A. Crisp (Chris) of Cope, SC and Jamie Aimar (Ashley) of Bowman, SC. Six great grandchildren, Tanner Aimar, Kate Lowe, Hayden Aimar, Callie Lowe, Caitlyn Crisp, Caleb Aimar. One brother, Fitzhugh Sweatman (Martha) of St. George, SC. Three sisters, Evelyn Avant (Carlisle, Barbara Sundgren, both of St. George, SC and Margaret Spell (Charles) of Smoaks, SC

Friends may call at the residence of Jimmy and Joan Aimar, 201 Reeseville Rd. Bowman, SC and Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 800 PM Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.
