Elizabeth McBratnie , 68 of Columbia died Thursday, September 17, 2015 at her residence.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM before the service at the church.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Orangeburg with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers are Gerald Mills, Wayne Eaves, Wesley Chavis, Bradley Warner, Roger "Vann" Dyches, and Robert Nettles.

She was born May 17, 1947 in Orangeburg, SC; the daughter of the late Harvey Thomas and the late Sadie Hudson Thomas. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was retired from Orangeburg School District # 5. She was preceded in death by a daughter; Helen "Anne" Henry.

Survivors include a daughter; Phyllis (Gerald) Mills of Columbia; grandchildren; Phillip Eaves of Walterboro; Dianna (Brad) Warner of Cordova; Kayla (Wes) Bohn of Neeses; Caitlin (Vann) Horne of Branchville; Brian (Crystal) Chavis of Cordova; great grandchildren; Hailee Warner, Rileigh Horne, Lexie Warner, Zane Bohn, Hunter Warner, Aedan Dyches, Mason Wilkerson and Skye Chavis.
