Erma Knight Champy

Erma Knight Champy, 95 of Orangeburg   died Saturday, September 30, 2017 at her residence.

The Casket will be placed in the church at 12:00 Noon on Monday before the service.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, October 2, 2017 at Columbia Road Church of God in Orangeburg  with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Rev. Keith Vaughn officiating.

Pallbearers are  Anthony Christopher Champy, Steven Costello, Robert Dannelly, Jr. Dawson Ray Morgan and  Zachery Spigner

Honorary Pallbearers  will be her  Sunday School Class

She was born November 1, 1921 in Orangeburg, SC, the daughter of the late John Cecil Knight and the late Estelle Creech Knight. She was a member of Columbia Road Church of God and was the widow of the late Clarence Champy.

Survivors include a son; Joseph Scott Champy (Michelle) of Orangeburg and a daughter; Elizabeth Poehmel of Orangeburg; 4 grandchildren; Benjamin Champy, Joseph Champy, Destiny Champy Spigner, and Anthony Christopher Champy and 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Claudia Craft and Novis Givens and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 6:00 TO 8:00 PM Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
