Estelle V. Davis, 78 died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at her residence.
Visitation will be held 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the funeral home before the service on Thursday,
Funeral Service will be held 12:00 Noon, Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Willow Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery in Norway with Pastor Benjamin Harr officiating.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Rutland, Stephen Bishop, Josey Bishop, Mike Roberson, Aaron Pabon and Bubba Rutland.
She was born July 1, 1939 in Norway, SC; the daughter of the late Luther Vaughn and the late Mary Phillips Vaughn. She was the widow of the late James Parker Davis.
Survivors include 5 daughters; Doris Mitchell of Columbia, Pat (Stephen) Thompson of St. George, Lisa (Anthony) Dyches of Bamberg and Brenda Davis and Aaron Pabon of Seattle, WA; Sandy (Cliff) Dyches of Bamberg; 1 son; James Mitchell of Orangeburg; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 sisters; Sandra (Larry) Hall and Betty Lou Kirby both of Cordova; 2 brothers; Johnny Vaughn and Luke Vaughn both of Orangeburg and a beloved pet, Carolina.
