Eugene David Hammond, 81 of Elloree died Friday, October 2, 2015at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
The Family will hold a Private Service at a later date.
Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg is in charge of arrangements.
He was born May 12, 1934 in St. Matthews, SC; the son of the late Marvin Hammond and the late Grace Wilson Hammond. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in St. Matthews. He was retired from Coca Cola Bottling Company. He was preceded in death by a sister; Shirley Yoakum.
Survivors include his wife; Nell Farrell Hammond of the home; daughter; Jacqueline H. Seals of St. Matthews; a son; David (Susan) Hammond of Cordova; daughter; Teresa (Eddie) Hughes of Orangeburg; step-daughter; Gail Tatum of Richlands, VA; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
