Eva Jane Patrick

Mrs. Eva Jane Patrick, 82 of Orangeburg   died Friday, December 9, 2016 at her home.

*** The Casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service ***

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at St. George Baptist Church with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg. Pastor Steve Dees will be  officiating.

Pallbearers will be  Phillip Cooper, A.C. Webb, Jerry Keith Preaveaux, Jr., Anthony Varner and Tripp Preaveaux

Honorarary Pallbearers will be Joshua Cooper, Ashton Dyches, Robert Nathaniel Johnson and Michael Webb.

She was born September 10, 1934 in Cope, SC; the daughter of the late Sanders Griffith and the late Maudelle Tyler Griffith. She was a member of Rivelon Baptist Church but attended St. George Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Herbert W. Patrick, Sr. and was preceded in death by a son John Sanders Patriick.

Survivors  include 2 sons and caregivers of both parents; Herbert Wesley Patrick, Jr. and Donald R. Johnson both of the home; 2 daughters; Dell Thornton and Betty Jane Webb both of Orangeburg; grandchildren; A.C. Webb, Michael Webb, Jon Patrick, Lisa Cooper, Robert Nathaniel Johnson and Nikki Patrick; 8 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the residence and at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, December 12, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
