Evelyn Garris Bookhardt, 73 of Orangeburg died Tuesday, July 19, 2016.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday before the service at White House United Methodist Church.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 24, 2016 at White House United Methodist Church in Orangeburg with entombment in the church cemetery with Rev. Mike Written and Pastor Preston Grimsley officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Mrs. Evelyn was born July 11, 1943 in Craven County, NC; the daughter of the late Heber Garris and the late Grace Clark Garris. She was a member of White House United Methodist Church and was retired from Mohawk Industrial Flooring Company. She was the widow of the late Francis "Frank" Ulmer Bookhardt, Sr. and was preceded in death by 2 sons; Richard Allen Hinson and Kevin Earl Cleve.
Survivors include 1 son; Christian Kelly Cleve; 6 grandchildren; Kim, Brad and Tyler Hinson; Brandon, Josh and Gabby Cleve and 5 great grandchildren; Addyson Cleve, Cole, Peyton, Jacob and Tynlleigh Hinson.
Friends may call at her residence.
Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service at White House United Methodist Church.
