Faye D. Morris,68, from Cope, S.C. died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Covenant Dove Healthcare after a brief illness. The funeral will be 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Morris was born on June 16, 1946 in Charleston, S.C. She was the daughter of the late Wade H. Darnell and the late Kate Hutchins Darnell. She was a member of Wesley Grove United Methodist Church. She was the owner/operator of The Gingerbread House Daycare. She was predeceased by her husband, Lever Morris; son Ray Morris; daughter Kaye Hay; five sisters Anna Barnes, Nancy Barnes, Peggy Hughes, Vera Edwards and Margaret Darnell and two brothers, Cecil Darnell and Billy Darnell.
Survivors include two granddaughters Shayla Ashe of Orangeburg and Mykala Ashe of Orangeburg; a sister Linda (Joe) Worrell of Orangeburg; a brother, Grady Darnell of Bowman; a special nephew Will Parnell of Cope and a son-in-law Glenn Ashe Jr. of Orangeburg.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
