Frances (Davis) Davis

Frances D. Davis, 89, of Neeses passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on  Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Bethany Baptist Church, 125 Bethany Church Road, Orangeburg.  Rev. Jim Broad and Rev. Tyler Womble will be officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 15, 2024 prior to the funeral service.

Friends may also visit the residence.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Joshua Davis, Michael Davis, Luke Funderburk, Jody Corbett, Brian Morgan and Joseph Caudill.

Mrs. Davis was born on June 8, 1935 in Norway, S.C.  She was the daughter of the late Ernest Fred Davis and the late Martha Hutto Davis.  She was employed for many years with First Union Bank.  She was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles W. Davis, Sr., a grandson, Travis Funderburk, brothers, Marion H.“Bookie” Davis, George Robert Davis, and a sister, Bobbie Davis.

Survivors include her children, Charles W. Davis, Jr. (Angelia), Patricia D. Funderburk, Judson E. Davis (Sherry); seven grandchildren, Michael Davis (Jessica), Joshua Davis (Autumn), Laura Morgan (Brian), Jessica Corbett (Jody), Luke Funderburk (Amber), Amy Womble (Tyler), Ashley Caudill (Joseph); thirteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Vilma Baltzegar (Wayne) and a number of nieces and nephews.
