Frances L. Thomas , 93 of Orangeburg died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Jolley Acres Health Care Center in Orangeburg.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg with Rev. Larry Williams and Rev. Jim Parnell directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Mrs. Thomas was born January 6, 1924 in Clinton, SC; the daughter of the late Victor Lawson and the late Clara Dunnaway Lawson. She was a member of Rivelon Baptist Church and was the widow of the late Edward H. Thomas. She was preceded in death by 2 grandsons; Lloyd Wilkes and Mark Thomas and by 2 sons; Marvin Thomas and Jimmy Thomas.
Survivors include a daughter; Ann Welch of Orangeburg and a son; Bobby (Nancy) Thomas of Swansea; grandchildren; Sommer Broach (Brantley) of Florence, Stephanie Marie Benson (Robert) of Swansea, Wyman Thomas (Melissa), Andy Thomas (Danielle) all of Orangeburg, Lucinda “Lucy” (Jeffrey) McMurray of Cope, Kim Thomas and Jim Thomas both of Valdosta, GA and a number of great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, February 3, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.in Orangeburg.
