Frank James "Jim" Myers , 67 of Orangeburg died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with Rev. Alan Woodward and Tony Veaga officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
He was born May 30, 1946 in Richmond, VA; the son of the late Frank Patrick Myers and the late Mary Godsey Myers. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2779 and a member of the Abate. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; John Myers and Marvin Myers.
Survivors include his wife; Pam Canupp Myers of the home; 1 daughter; Dawn Clayton of Woodstock, GA; 1 step-son; Todd Foster of Chester, SC; 4 grandchildren; 1 brother; Wayne Myers of New Jersey; cousin; Francis Harris of Richmond, VA; nephews; Travis Myers (Melanie) of Georgia; Tony Veaga (Noreen) of Florida and a number of other nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the residence and at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held 2:00 to 3:00 PM Friday before the service and also after the service at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
