Frank Dexter Rooney, 81, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
A visitation will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Rooney was born on October 20, 1941, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He was the son of the late William B. Rooney and the late Edna M. Thomes. He was a 55-year Florida resident before moving to S.C.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Jeanette M. Rooney; children, Frank Rooney, Jr., Richard (Karen) Rooney, Lori (Robert) Stealey, Justine (Hank) Caffery; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a brother, David Rooney of Massachusetts.
