Fred David "Bubba" Amaker, III, 47, of St. Matthews, S.C., died early Saturday morning, March 29, 2014 from injuries received in a vehicile accident.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Jamison. Burial will be in Amaker Family cemetery off North Road, with Rev. Scott Wagoner officiating, directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Pallbearers will be Thomas J. wetherell, Hunter Amaker, Michael Parham, Tommy Soles, j. W. Williams, Jonathon Malpass, Joshua Ott, and Billy Malpass
Honorary Pallbearers will be mike Williams and David Lore.

Mr. Amaker was born May 31, 1966 in Orangeburg, a son of Sallie Jo Malpass Amaker and the late Fred David Amaker, Jr. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was employed with Dantzler Farms and was preceded in death be his wife--Priscilla Amaker.

Surviving is a daughter; Sallie Amaker of the home; two step-daughters; Sheinna and Allen Metts and Amanda and John Gregg all of St. Matthews; his mother; Sallie Jo Malpass Amaker of St. Matthews; two brothers; Lee and Anita Amaker of Orangeburg and Roy Robertson of N.C.; three sisters; Mary Jo and Mike Williams and Shirley Garrick all of Orangeburg and Rose and Mike Williams of Aiken.

Friends may call at the residence of his mother, 45 Strawberry Lane, St. Matthews, S.C. and at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg
Visitation will be: 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, March 31, 2014 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg
