Mr. Freddie Matha Argoe , 82 of Orangeburg died Saturday, April 1, 2017 at WJB Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia
The Casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 4, 2017
at Highland Baptist Church in Orangeburg with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg with Rev. Charlie Snipes officiating
directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Pallbearers will be Adam Argoe, Nick Argoe, Jeremy Ganz and David Zachry
He was born January 23, 1935 in Savannah, GA; the son of the late Fred M. Argoe and the late Drusilla Judy Argoe. He served in the U.S. Navy for 13 years.He was a member of Highland Baptist Church and was retired from Ethyl Corporation as a Foreman. He was preceded in death by 2 children; Mitchell Argoe and Mark Argoe.
Survivors include his wife; Joan C. Petti Argoe of the home; 3 children; Michael Argoe (Marie) of Batesburg-Leesville, SC; Kim Brigando of Jekyll Island, GA and Anthony Argoe (Lynda) of Goose Creek;1 daughter-in-law; Dale Argoe of Kite, GA; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, April 3, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
