Furman Leroy Stanfield,65 of St Matthews, S.C. died on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at his residence.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Jamison directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Mr. Stanfield was born on July 22, 1949 in Orangeburg, S.C. He was the son of Mrs. Carrie Kemmerlin McAlhany and the late Johnny J. Stanfield. He was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church in the Jamison Community. He was retired from Edisto Beverage.
Survivors include one son, Timothy Stanfield of St. Matthews; his mother Carrie Kemmerlin McAlhany of Orangeburg; a brother, Lavern Stanfield and his wife; Norma of Orangeburg, three grandchildren, Christine Stanfield of Orangeburg, Timothy Stanfield, Jr. of St. Matthews and Joseph Stanfield of St. Matthews; one great granddaughter; Abbygal Furtick of Cordova;
