Gale Yvonne (Scott) Rivenbark

Gale Yvonne Rivenbark, 72, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at her home.

Mrs. Gale was born in Orangeburg, S.C.  She was the daughter of Mrs. Minnie Lou Haddock Scott and the late James Scott.  She was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church.  Mrs. Gale played the piano for many years for several churches.  She was a devoted caregiver for several families.  She loved being a mother, and Gigi.

Survivors include her daughters, Wendy Thomas (Lee), Misty Royal; her daughter-in-law, Joann Royal; her beloved grandchildren, Jake Griggs, Skylar Parker, Sienna Douglas, Isaiah Royal, Jasmyn Royal; her mother, Minnie Lou Scott; her sister, Susan Harley (Eddie) and an additional number of family and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, her husband, John Rivenbark, her son, Aaron Royal and brothers, Wayne Scott and Wendell Scott.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Providence Baptist Church, 51 Providence Road, Orangeburg.  Rev. Dr. Kimmett Lott will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 27, 2025, prior to the memorial service.
