Gladys (Colson) Mcdaniel

Gladys Colson McDaniel passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Orangeburg. Bishop Jason Ross will be officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Gladys was born on January 15, 1930 to Ludlow and Olivia Colson near Walterboro, S.C. After being widowed by her first husband, Archie, she met and married Thyas Eli McDaniel, Jr. of Orangeburg on February 17, 1956. She is the proud mother of three sons; Danny Wayne (Marci), Randall Eli (Paula) and Dennis Lane (Christi); she was a grandmother of nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many beloved in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.
