Gladys Ashworth Sharpe , 91 died Friday, September 4, 2015 at The Methodist Oaks in Orangeburg.

Graveside Service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens in Columbia directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

She was born August 6, 1924 in Lebanon, Tenn; the daughter of the late Albert Bethal Ashworth and the late Hattie Bass Ashworth. She was owner and operator of McCure Grocery Store. She was the widow of the late Vernon Clemson Sharpe.

Survivors include a nephew; John G. Kaigler of Gaston, SC.
