Glenn Andrew Gleaton

Glenn Andrew Gleaton ,62, died on Monday, March 28, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg, S.C. with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg, S.C. Pastor Lonnie Peyton will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ray Snodgrass, Jack Guffey, Johnny Fraiser, Gordon Staugh, Bennie Wilson, and Mark Beard Honorary Pallbearers will be Friends and Co-Workers of Carolina Tree Care

Mr. Gleaton was born on August 14, 1953. He was the son of Charlie Daniel Gleaton and Ergenia Robinson Gleaton. He served in the United States National Guard. He was a supervisor at Carolina Tree Service.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Carlin Gleaton of the home; 2 daughters, Cheryl Phillips (Braden) of Cordova, S.C. and Lynn Murdaugh of Orangeburg, S.C.; 2 granddaughters, Kirsten and Alexis Murdaugh both of Orangeburg, S.C.; twin sister, Linda Martin of Cope, S.C. and sisters Crystal Hoover (John) of Irmo, S.C., Julie Gleaton of Denmark, S.C. and Savon Bowick of Cope, S.C.; brothers, Jack Gleaton of Orangeburg, S.C., Bobby Robinson (Ann) of Orangeburg, S.C. and Wayne Robinson (Margaret) of Ridge Springs, S.C. and a number of nieces and nephews; special friends, Gloria Chapline and Juanita Ritchie.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.
