Glenn Lee Johnson

Glenn Lee Johnson, 66, of Elloree passed away on Friday, February 20, 2025, at Longwood Plantation after an extended illness.

Mr. Johnson was born on June 27, 1958, in Orangeburg County. He was the son of the late George Lawrence Johnson and the late Mary O. Bessinger Johnson. He was employed by the State of South Carolina as an HVAC technician until his retirement after twenty-five-years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.  He had a joyful personality and was loved by all who knew him.

Survivors include his sons, Dustin Johnson (Mikaela), Jeremy Johnson (Dasha); brothers, Rickey Johnson (Linda Ann), Al Johnson (Pam); brother in-law, Tommy Smoak; granddaughter, Georgia Lynn Johnson; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Johnson was predeceased in death by his parents, and his sister, Linda Smoak.

A very special thank you to the staff of Longwood Plantation for caring for him as family and especially to his niece, Jerri Summer. The family would also like to give a special thank you to the staff of Grove Park Hospice for all of their love and support during his illness.
